Uqba bin Amir reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah admits three people to Paradise on account of a single arrow: its maker who intends good in his craft, the one who supplies it, and the one who shoots it."He said, "Shoot and ride, but that you shoot is more beloved to me than that you ride. Every pastime in which a man indulges is vain, except a man's shooting with his bow, his training of his horse, and his playing with his wife, for these are from the truth. Whoever learns archery and then abandons it has disbelieved in the One who taught it to him."

عن عقبة بن عامر الجهني قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله عز وجل يدخل الثلاثة بالسهم الواحد الجنة صانعه يحتسب في صنعته الخير والممد به والرامي به وقال ارموا واركبوا وأن ترموا أحب إلي من أن تركبوا وإن كل شيء يلهو به الرجل باطل إلا رمية الرجل بقوسه وتأديبه فرسه وملاعبته امرأته فإنهن من الحق ومن نسي الرمي بعدما علمه فقد كفر الذي علمه
