The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Tomorrow I shall be riding out to the Jews, so do not be the first to greet them with salaam. If they greet you, then say, 'And upon you.'"Abdul-Hameed bin Jafar and Ibn Lahia narrated it differently. They both reported it from Abu Basra.Abu Asim narrated to us, from Abdul-Hameed bin Jafar, who said, "Abu Basra," meaning in the hadith of Ibn Abu Adi from Ibn Ishaq.
