Malik reported,

I said, "Messenger of Allah, what about a man I pass by who does not host me or extend hospitality to me, then he passes by me. Should I repay him in kind?"He replied, "No, show him hospitality."He noticed that I was shabbily dressed and asked, "Do you have any wealth?"I answered, "Allah has given me wealth of every kind, camels and sheep."He said, "Then let the marks of Allah's blessing be visible upon you."

عن أبيه مالك قال

قلت يا رسول الله الرجل أمر به فلا يضيفني ولا يقريني فيمر بي فأجزيه قال لا بل اقره قال فرآني رث الهيئة فقال هل لك من مال فقلت قد أعطاني الله عز وجل من كل المال من الإبل والغنم قال فلير أثر نعمة الله عليك
