Abu Hawra reported,

I asked Hasan bin Ali, "What do you remember of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"He replied, "I remember that I took a date from the dates of charity and put it in my mouth. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ pulled it out, still wet with my saliva, and threw it back among the dates."A man said to him, "What harm would it have done if he had eaten that one date?"He answered, "We do not eat from charity."Hasan also said, "He used to say, 'Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt, for truthfulness is tranquility and falsehood is doubt.'"He continued, "He used to teach us this supplication, 'O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, grant me well-being among those You have granted well-being, take me into Your care among those You have taken into Your care, bless me in what You have given me, and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. Indeed, none whom You support is ever humiliated.'" And sometimes he said, "Blessed are You, our Lord, and exalted."
