Umar Jumai reported,

He narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah intends good for a servant, He puts him to use before his death."A man from the gathering asked, "How does He put him to use?"He replied, "Allah guides him to righteous deeds before his death, then takes his soul while he is in that state."

حدثه أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا أراد الله بعبد خيرا استعمله قبل موته فسأله رجل من القوم ما استعمله قال يهديه الله عز وجل إلى العمل الصالح قبل موته ثم يقبضه على ذلك
