I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "I was, in the Mother of the Book with Allah, the seal of the prophets while Adam was still mingled in his clay. I will tell you the meaning of this. I am the supplication of my father Ibrahim, the glad tidings Isa gave to his people, and the vision my mother saw when she beheld a light emerging from her that illuminated the palaces of Sham. Such are the visions seen by the mothers of the prophets, may the blessings of Allah be upon them."

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إني عبد الله في أم الكتاب لخاتم النبيين وإن آدم لمنجدل في طينته وسأنبئكم بتأويل ذلك دعوة أبي إبراهيم وبشارة عيسى قومه ورؤيا أمي التي رأت أنه خرج منها نور أضاءت له قصور الشام وكذلك ترى أمهات النبيين صلوات الله عليهم
