Irbaz bin Sariya reported,

The Prophet ﷺ used to come out to us in the Suffah while we wore the hawtakiyyah, and he would say, "If you knew what has been stored up for you, you would not grieve over what has been withheld from you. Persia and Rome will surely be opened to you."

كان النبي ﷺ يخرج علينا في الصفة وعلينا الحوتكية فيقول لو تعلمون ما ذخر لكم ما حزنتم على ما زوي عنكم وليفتحن لكم فارس والروم
