Irbaz bin Sariya reported,

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "I am the servant of Allah and the seal of the prophets, and Adam was still lying in his clay. I will tell you how this began. I am the answer to the prayer of my father Ibrahim, and the good news Isa gave of me, and the vision my mother saw when she bore me. Such are the visions the mothers of the prophets see."He added to it that the mother of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when she gave birth to him, saw a light by which the palaces of Syria were lit up.

حدثنا أبو العلاء وهو الحسن بن سوار قال حدثنا ليث عن معاوية عن سعيد بن سويد عن عبد الأعلى بن هلال السلمي عن عرباض بن سارية قال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إني عبد الله وخاتم النبيين فذكر مثله وزاد فيه إن أم رسول الله ﷺ رأت حين وضعته نورا أضاءت منه قصور الشام
