Shaddad bin Aws said, "Abu Dharr would hear a hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ containing some strict ruling, then he would go out to his people, embracing it, perhaps imposing it strictly upon them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would later grant a concession regarding that matter, but Abu Dharr would not hear of it, so he would hold fast to the strict ruling."

قال قال شداد بن أوس كان أبو ذر يسمع الحديث من رسول الله ﷺ فيه الشدة ثم يخرج إلى قومه يسلم لعله يشدد عليهم ثم إن رسول الله ﷺ يرخص فيه بعد فلم يسمعه أبو ذر فيتعلق أبو ذر بالأمر الشديد
