Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Bakr reported,

The people of Suffah were poor folk, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever has food enough for two, let him take a third along, and whoever has food enough for four, let him take a fifth and a sixth," or something to that effect.Abu Bakr brought three guests, and the Prophet of Allah ﷺ took ten with him.The narrator said, So it was him and myself, my father, and my mother, and I do not know whether he also mentioned my wife and a servant who served between our house and the house of Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him.
