Uqba bin Amr said, "Shall I show you how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed?"He then stood up and said the takbir, then bowed, holding his arms away from his sides and placing his hands on his knees with his fingers spread apart behind his knees, until every part of him was settled. Then he raised his head and stood until every part of him was settled. Then he prostrated, holding his arms away from his sides until every part of him was settled.He prayed four rakahs in this manner, then said, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray," or "This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to lead us in prayer."
حدثنا حسين بن علي عن زائدة عن عطاء بن السائب
قال عقبة بن عمرو ألا أريكم صلاة رسول الله ﷺ قال فقام وكبر ثم ركع وجافى يديه ووضع يديه على ركبتيه وفرج بين أصابعه من وراء ركبتيه حتى استقر كل شيء منه ثم رفع رأسه فقام حتى استقر كل شيء منه ثم سجد فجافى حتى استقر كل شيء منه قال فصلى أربع ركعات ثم قال هكذا رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يصلي أو هكذا كان يصلي بنا رسول الله ﷺ
