Abu Masud Uqba bin Amr reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and said, "This authority lies with you, and you are its guardians. It will remain among you until you introduce wrongful deeds. When you do that, Allah will send against you the worst of His creation, who will strip you bare as a stick is stripped of its bark."

عن أبي مسعود قال

خطبنا رسول الله ﷺ فقال إن هذا الأمر فيكم وإنكم ولاته ولن يزال فيكم حتى تحدثوا أعمالا فإذا فعلتم ذلك بعث الله عز وجل عليكم شر خلقه فيلتحيكم كما يلتحى القضيب
