I was with the Prophet ﷺ when he conquered Hunayn. He stood up to address us and said, "It is not lawful for anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day to water another man's crop with his own water, nor to purchase any spoils of war before they have been distributed, nor to wear a garment from the spoils of the Muslims and then return it once he has worn it out, nor to ride an animal from the spoils of the Muslims and then return it once he has worn it down."
حدثنا يحيى بن زكريا بن أبي زائدة قال حدثني محمد بن إسحاق عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن أبي مرزوق مولى تجيب وتجيب بطن من كندة
كنت مع النبي ﷺ حين افتتح حنينا فقام فينا خطيبا فقال لا يحل لامرئ يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر أن يسقي ماءه زرع غيره ولا أن يبتاع مغنما حتى يقسم ولا أن يلبس ثوبا من فيء المسلمين حتى إذا أخلقه رده فيه ولا يركب دابة من فيء المسلمين حتى إذا أعجفها ردها فيه
