The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have been given the seven long surahs in place of the Torah, the surahs of around a hundred verses in place of the Psalms, and the oft-repeated surahs in place of the Gospel, and I have been favored with the mufassal."
حدثنا سليمان بن داود أبو داود الطيالسي قال أخبرنا عمران القطان عن قتادة عن أبي المليح الهذلي
أن النبي ﷺ قال أعطيت مكان التوراة السبع وأعطيت مكان الزبور المئين وأعطيت مكان الإنجيل المثاني وفضلت بالمفصل
