Habis bin Saad al-Tai entered the mosque before dawn, having met the Prophet ﷺ. He saw people praying at the front of the mosque and said, "By the Lord of the Kaabah, they are showing off! Startle them, for whoever startles them has obeyed Allah and His Messenger."So the people came to them and drove them out.He then said, "The angels pray at the front of the mosque before dawn."
حدثنا أبو المغيرة حدثنا حريز بن عثمان الرحبي قال سمعت
دخل المسجد حابس بن سعد الطائي من السحر وقد أدرك النبي ﷺ فرأى الناس يصلون في مقدم المسجد فقال مراءون ورب الكعبة أرعبوهم فمن أرعبهم فقد أطاع الله ورسوله فأتاهم الناس فأخرجوهم قال فقال إن الملائكة يصلون من السحر في مقدم المسجد
