I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "This matter will surely reach as far as night and day reach, and Allah will not leave a house of clay or a tent of hair without causing this religion to enter it, either through the honor of one who is honored or the humiliation of one who is humiliated. An honor by which Allah honors Islam, and a humiliation by which Allah humiliates disbelief."Tamim Dari used to say, "I have come to recognize this within my own household. Those of them who embraced Islam attained goodness, nobility, and honor, while those who remained disbelievers were struck with humiliation, lowliness, and the jizyah."
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators have already been mentioned, and they are trustworthy and well-known. Haythami said in 6/14, "The narrators of Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih." Hakim graded it sahih in 4/430, and Dhahabi agreed with him that it meets the standard of the two Sahihs, as did Bayhaqi in 9/181.
