Hisham reported,

Umar went out striking people for performing two prostrations after the Asr prayer, until he passed by Tamim Dari, who said, "I will not abandon them. I prayed them with one who is better than you, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."Umar replied, "If people were like you, I would not mind."

حدثنا حماد بن أسامة قال أخبرنا

هشام عن أبيه قال

خرج عمر على الناس يضربهم على السجدتين بعد العصر حتى مر بتميم الداري فقال لا أدعهما صليتهما مع من هو خير منك رسول الله ﷺ فقال عمر إن الناس لو كانوا كهيئتك لم أبال
