Hakam bin Mina reported,

Yazid bin Jariya reported that he was sitting with a group of the Ansar when Muawiya came out to them and asked them what they were discussing.They said, "We were engaged in some of the talk of the Ansar."Muawiya said, "Shall I add to your discussion a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"They replied, "Yes, Commander of the Faithful."He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever loves the Ansar, Allah loves him, and whoever hates the Ansar, Allah hates him.'"

حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا يحيى بن سعيد أن سعد بن إبراهيم أخبره

عن الحكم بن ميناء

أن يزيد بن جارية أخبره أنه كان جالسا في نفر من الأنصار فخرج عليهم معاوية فسألهم عن حديثهم فقالوا كنا في حديث من حديث الأنصار فقال معاوية ألا أزيدكم حديثا سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ فقالوا بلى يا أمير المؤمنين فقال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من أحب الأنصار أحبه الله عز وجل ومن أبغض الأنصار أبغضه الله عز وجل
