Know that there is none who can withhold what Allah has given, and none who can give what Allah has withheld, and wealth cannot benefit its owner against Allah. Whoever Allah intends good for, He grants him understanding of the religion. I heard these words from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ upon this very pulpit.
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن عجلان قال حدثني محمد بن كعب يعني القرظي قال
تعلمن أنه لا مانع لما أعطى ولا معطي لما منع الله ولا ينفع ذا الجد منه الجد من يرد الله به خيرا يفقه في الدين سمعت هذه الأحرف من رسول الله ﷺ على هذه الأعواد
