Muawiya said to me, "Did you know that I trimmed the hair from the head of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a broad-headed arrow?"I replied, "I do not see this as anything but evidence against you."
قال أبو عبد الرحمن حدثني عمرو بن محمد بن بكير الناقد قال حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن هشام بن حجير عن طاوس
قال لي معاوية علمت أني قصرت من رأس رسول الله ﷺ بمشقص فقلت له لا أعلم هذا إلا حجة عليك
Its isnad is sahih, previously mentioned at 16813, and it is among the additions of Abdullah.16827m- [Abdullah bin Ahmad said], Amr bin Muhammad Naqid narrated to us, he said, Abu Ahmad Zubayri narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Jafar bin Muhammad, from his father, from Ibn Abbas, from Muawiya, who said, "I trimmed the hair of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Marwa."Sahih (16827m). Its isnad is sahih, like the one before it.
