Haman reported,

During the year he performed the pilgrimage, Muawiya gathered a group of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ inside the Kaabah and said, "I am going to ask you about certain matters, so inform me. I adjure you by Allah, did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid the wearing of silk?"They replied, "Yes."He said, "And I bear witness to that as well."Then he said, "I adjure you by Allah, did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid the wearing of gold?"They replied, "Yes."He said, "And I bear witness to that as well."He said, "I adjure you by Allah, did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid the wearing of leopard skins?"They replied, "Yes."He said, "And I bear witness to that as well."

أن معاوية عام حج جمع نفرا من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ في الكعبة فقال أسألكم عن أشياء فأخبروني أنشدكم الله هل نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن لبس الحرير قالوا نعم قال وأنا أشهد ثم قال أنشدكم بالله أنهى رسول الله ﷺ عن لبس الذهب قالوا نعم قال وأنا أشهد قال أنشدكم بالله أنهى رسول الله ﷺ عن لبس صوف النمور قالوا نعم قال وأنا أشهد
