I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "I have several names. I am Ahmad. I am Muhammad. I am al-Mahi, the one through whom Allah wipes out disbelief. I am al-Hashir, the one at whose feet people will be gathered. And I am al-Aqib."Muamar said, I asked al-Zuhri, "What does al-Aqib mean?"He replied, "The one after whom there is no prophet ﷺ."
قال حدثنا عبد الرزاق قال حدثنا معمر عن الزهري
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن لي أسماء أنا أحمد وأنا محمد وأنا الماحي الذي يمحو الله بي الكفر وأنا الحاشر الذي يحشر الناس على قدمي وأنا العاقب قال معمر قلت للزهري ما العاقب قال الذي ليس بعده نبي ﷺ
