I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he opened the prayer, say, "Allah is the Greatest, supremely great," three times, "Praise be to Allah abundantly," three times, "Glory be to Allah morning and evening," three times, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from Satan, from his prodding, his blowing, and his puffing."Husayn explained, "His prodding is the seizure that afflicts one who is touched by madness, his blowing is poetry, and his puffing is arrogance."
قال حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد قال أبو عبد الرحمن عبد الله بن أحمد وسمعته أنا من عبد الله بن محمد عن عبد الله بن إدريس عن حصين عن عمرو بن مرة عن عباد بن عاصم
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ حين افتتح الصلاة قال الله أكبر كبيرا ثلاثا الحمد لله كثيرا ثلاثا سبحان الله بكرة وأصيلا ثلاثا اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الشيطان من همزه ونفثه ونفخه قال حصين همزه الموتة التي تأخذ صاحب المس ونفثه الشعر ونفخه الكبر
