The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have several names. I am Muhammad, and I am Ahmad. I am al-Hashir, the one at whose feet people will be gathered. I am al-Mahi, the one through whom Allah wipes out disbelief. And I am al-Aqib, and al-Aqib is the one after whom there is no prophet ﷺ."
حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري
عن النبي ﷺ قال إن لي أسماء أنا محمد وأنا أحمد وأنا الحاشر الذي يحشر الناس على قدمي وأنا الماحي الذي يمحى بي الكفر وأنا العاقب والعاقب الذي ليس بعده نبي ﷺ
Its chain is sahih. The hadith was narrated by Bukhari 6/554, no. 3532 Fath, in Manaqib, chapter on what has been said about the names of the Prophet ﷺ, and Muslim 4/1828, no. 2354, in Fadail, with similar wording, and Tirmidhi 5/135, no. 2840, in Adab, with similar wording, where he said, hasan sahih, and Darimi 2/409, no. 2775, in Riqaq. As for his saying "the Humus," they are Quraysh and their descendants, and Kinanah, and Judaylah of Qays, and they were called Humus because of their zeal in their religion.16680m - Sufyan narrated to us from Zuhri, from Muhammad bin Jubayr bin Mutim, from his father, that he heard the Prophet ﷺ recite Tur in Maghrib.Sahih (16680m).
