The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No father has given his child a gift better than good manners."
حدثنا عبد الله حدثنا نضر بن علي الجهضمي وعبد الأعلى بن حماد أبو يحيى النرسي قالا حدثنا عامر بن أبي عامر الخزاز قال حدثنا
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما نحل والد ولدا أفضل من أدب حسن
Its chain of transmission is daif, because of Amir bin Abu Amir, whom we discussed under 16656, and the hadith is there, so refer to it under 16656 and its cross-references. As for Nasr bin Ali Jahdami and Abdul-Ala bin Hammad, they are both reliable, and their narrations are in the Sahihayn.
