I came to the Prophet ﷺ at Arafah and took hold of the rein of his she-camel, or its halter, and pushed my way through to him. The people tried to push me away, but he said, "Leave him alone, for he has come with a need."I said, "Tell me of a deed that will bring me near to Paradise and keep me far from the Fire."He raised his head toward the sky, then said, "Though you have put your question briefly, you have asked about something tremendous, or something weighty. Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, establish the prayer, give the zakat, perform the pilgrimage to the House, and fast Ramadan. Treat people the way you would love to be treated, and whatever you dislike for yourself, spare people from it. Now release the rein of the she-camel."
