I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Stretch out your hand so I may pledge allegiance to you upon Islam."Darrar said, then I recited:I have abandoned the gambling arrows, the singing of slave-girls, and wine, for prayer and earnest supplication,And for charging on my steed into the thick of battle, and waging war against the polytheists.So my Lord, do not let me lose in my bargain, for I have sold my wealth and family in exchange.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You have not lost in your bargain, Darrar."

Its isnad is daif due to Muhammad bin Saeed Bahili, whom they weakened, and Haythami said in 8/126 that he is discarded, while the rest are trustworthy and have been mentioned previously. His words in the poem "and my charge against the polytheists" appear in some narrations as "and my charge against the Muslims," and instead of "safati" it has been narrated as "safqati" and "baiati." The hadith is among the additional narrations (zawaid).
