I presented the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with the meat of a wild donkey while he was at Abwa, or perhaps at Waddan, and he returned it to me. When he saw the displeasure on my face, he said, "It is not that we refuse you out of dislike, but we are consecrated for pilgrimage."
وأهديت لرسول الله ﷺ لحم حمار وحش وهو بالأبواء أو بودان فرده علي فلما رأى الكراهية في وجهي قال إنه ليس منا رد عليك ولكنا حرم
