I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "There is no prayer for one who has no ablution, and there is no ablution for one who does not mention the name of Allah the Exalted. Whoever does not believe in me does not believe in Allah, and whoever does not love the Ansar does not believe in me."
قال حدثنا الهيثم بن خارجة قال عبد الله وقد سمعته أنا من الهيثم قال حدثنا حفص بن ميسرة عن ابن حرملة عن أبي ثفال المري أنه قال سمعت
سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول لا صلاة لمن لا وضوء له ولا وضوء لمن لم يذكر الله تعالى ولا يؤمن بالله من لم يؤمن بي ولا يؤمن بي من لا يحب الأنصار
Its isnad is daif, because of the anonymity of the female narrator from Saeed bin Zayd, though it is possible she was one of the companions. In any case, the hadith is sahih, as previously mentioned in 9382, and this wording is found in Abu Dawud 1/25, no. 101, and Ibn Majah 1/140, no. 398. Rabah bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Sufyan bin Hawitab is trustworthy, and he was the judge of Madinah. Abu Bakkal Muri is Thumamah bin Waail, and he is acceptable.
