The Prophet ﷺ addressed the people at Mina and assigned them their places to camp. He said, "Let the Muhajirun camp here," gesturing to the right side of the qiblah, "and the Ansar here," gesturing to the left side of the qiblah, "and let the rest of the people camp around them." He then taught them the rites of the pilgrimage. The hearing of the people of Mina was opened up so that they could hear him from inside their tents.The narrator said, "I heard him say, 'Throw pebbles at the Jamrah using stones the size of those used in flicking.'"Abdullah said, I heard Musab al-Zubayri say, Abu Talha al-Qass came to Malik bin Anas and said, "Abu Abdullah, some people have forbidden me from reciting this saying in my storytelling, 'May Allah bless Ibrahim. Indeed You are Praiseworthy and Glorious, and may He bless Muhammad and the people of his house and his wives.'"Malik replied, "Narrate it and recite it as a story, and say it."
قال حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن حميد الأعرج عن محمد بن إبراهيم التيمي عن عبد الرحمن بن معاذ
خطب النبي ﷺ الناس بمنى ونزلهم منازلهم وقال لينزل المهاجرون هاهنا وأشار إلى ميمنة القبلة والأنصار هاهنا وأشار إلى ميسرة القبلة ثم لينزل الناس حولهم قال وعلمهم مناسكهم ففتحت أسماع أهل منى حتى سمعوه في منازلهم قال فسمعته يقول ارموا الجمرة بمثل حصى الخذف قال عبد الله سمعت مصعبا الزبيري يقول جاء أبو طلحة القاص إلى مالك بن أنس فقال يا أبا عبد الله إن قوما قد نهوني أن أقص هذا الحديث صلى الله على إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد وعلى محمد وعلى أهل بيته وعلى أزواجه فقال مالك حدث به وقص به وقوله
