He said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say to a man called Busr Ibn Rai al-Ir, whom he saw eating with his left hand, "Eat with your right hand."The man replied, "I cannot."The Prophet ﷺ said, "May you never be able to."The narrator said, And his right hand never reached his mouth again.Abu Nadr said in his version of the hadith that Ibn Rai al-Ir was from the tribe of Ashja.

قال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول لرجل يقال له بسر ابن راعي العير أبصره يأكل بشماله فقال كل بيمينك فقال لا أستطيع فقال لا استطعت قال فما وصلت يمينه إلى فمه بعد وقال أبو النضر في حديثه ابن راعي العير من أشجع
