I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performing ablution at al-Juhfah. He then mentioned the meaning of Hasan's hadith, except that he said, "He wiped his head with fresh water, not with the water left over on his hand."
قال حدثنا علي بن إسحاق قال أخبرنا عبد الله وعتاب قال حدثنا عبد الله يعني ابن المبارك قال أخبرنا ابن لهيعة قال حدثنا حبان بن واسع عن أبيه
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يتوضأ بالجحفة فذكر معنى حديث حسن إلا أنه قال فمسح رأسه بماء من غير فضل يده
