Abbad bin Tamim reported,

One of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ reported that the Prophet ﷺ went out with the people to the prayer ground to pray for rain on their behalf. He stood and supplicated while standing, then he faced the qiblah and turned his cloak inside out, and they were granted rain.

قال حدثنا أبو اليمان قال حدثنا شعيب عن الزهري قال أخبرني

عباد بن تميم أن عمه

وكان من أصحاب النبي ﷺ أن النبي ﷺ خرج بالناس إلى المصلى يستسقي لهم فقام فدعا قائما ثم توجه قبل القبلة وحول رداءه فأسقوا
