Uthman was asked about the ablution of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He called for water, washed his hands, rinsed his mouth, and inhaled water into his nose three times. He then washed his face three times, washed each hand twice, and wiped his head.Uthman said that Malik wiped his head by passing his hands forward and then back. Then he washed his feet and said, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution."
Its isnad is sahih. Uthman bin Umar bin Faris Abdi is trustworthy, as noted previously several times, and likewise Amr bin Yahya bin Umarah bin Abu Hasan Mazini. The hadith has already appeared at 16391.
