Abdullah bin Zayd bin Asim reported,

I witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ go out to pray for rain. He turned his back to the people, faced the qiblah, turned his cloak inside out, began to supplicate, then prayed two rak'ahs reciting aloud.

قال حدثنا يزيد قال أخبرنا ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري

عن عباد بن تميم عن عمه قال

شهدت رسول الله ﷺ خرج يستسقي فولى ظهره الناس واستقبل القبلة وحول رداءه وجعل يدعو وصلى ركعتين وجهر بالقراءة
