The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out with the people to pray for rain. He led them in two units of prayer, reciting aloud in them, then turned his cloak around, faced the qiblah, and made supplication.
قال حدثنا عبد الرزاق قال حدثنا معمر عن الزهري
خرج رسول الله ﷺ بالناس يستسقي فصلى بهم ركعتين وجهر بالقراءة فيها وحول رداءه ودعا واستقبل القبلة
