The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me while I was at al-Abwa, and I offered him a wild donkey as a gift, but he returned it to me. When he saw the displeasure on my face, he said, "We are not returning it to you except that we are in a state of ihram."
قال حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا معمر عن الزهري عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله عن ابن عباس
مر بي رسول الله ﷺ وأنا بالأبواء فأهديت له حمار وحش فرده علي فلما رأى الكراهية في وجهي قال إنه ليس بنا رد عليك ولكنا حرم
