He was with his father at the plain of Namirah. He said, A group of riders passed by us and made their camels kneel by the side of the road. My father said, "My son, stay with your young livestock until I go to these riders and ask them some questions."He said, He approached them and I drew near him as well. The prayer was called, and there among them was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So I prayed with them, and it is as though I am still looking at the whiteness of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ underarms whenever he prostrated.
قال حدثنا أبو نعيم حدثنا داود يعني ابن قيس قال حدثني
أنه كان مع أبيه بالقاع من نمرة قال فمر بنا ركب فأناخوا بناحية الطريق فقال أبي أي بني كن في بهمك حتى آتي هؤلاء الركب فأسائلهم قال دنا منهم ودنوت منه وأقيمت الصلاة فإذا فيهم رسول الله ﷺ فصليت معهم وكأني أنظر إلى عفرتي إبطي رسول الله ﷺ إذا سجد
