Abu Talha reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came one day with joy visible on his face. They said, "Messenger of Allah, we see joy on your face."He replied, "An angel came to me and said, 'Muhammad, does it not please you that your Lord says, "No one from your nation sends blessings upon you but that I send blessings upon him tenfold, and no one from your nation sends greetings of peace upon you but that I send greetings of peace upon him tenfold"?' I said, 'Yes indeed.'"

أن رسول الله ﷺ جاء ذات يوم والسرور يرى في وجهه فقالوا يا رسول الله إنا لنرى السرور في وجهك فقال إنه أتاني ملك فقال يا محمد أما يرضيك أن ربك عز وجل يقول إنه لا يصلي عليك أحد من أمتك إلا صليت عليه عشرا ولا يسلم عليك أحد من أمتك إلا سلمت عليه عشرا قال بلى
