Abu Talha reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels do not enter a house in which there is an image."Busr said, He then fell ill, so we visited him, and there on his door was a curtain bearing an image. I said to Ubaydullah Khawlani, the stepson of Maymunah the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, "Did he not tell us about images the other day?"Ubaydullah replied, "Did you not hear him say, 'except a pattern on a garment'?"Hashim said, "Did Zayd not inform us about images the other day?"Ubaydullah answered, "Did you not hear him when he said, 'except a pattern on a garment'?"Yunus reported it likewise.

حدثنا الحجاج بن محمد وهاشم بن القاسم قالا حدثنا ليث يعني ابن سعد قال حدثني بكير يعني ابن عبد الله بن الأشج عن بسر بن سعيد عن زيد بن خالد

عن أبي طلحة صاحب رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال

إن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا تدخل الملائكة بيتا فيه صورة قال بسر ثم اشتكى فعدناه فإذا على بابه ستر فيه صورة فقلت لعبيد الله الخولاني ربيب ميمونة زوج النبي ﷺ ألم يخبرنا ويذكر الصور يوم الأول فقال عبيد الله ألم تسمعه يقول قال إلا رقم في ثوب قال هاشم ألم يخبرنا زيد عن الصور يوم الأول فقال عبيد الله ألم تسمعه حين قال إلا رقم في ثوب وكذا قال يونس
