Food was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said to his companions, "Mention the name of Allah, and let each person eat from what is in front of him."When Ibn Ishaq says "and he mentioned" regarding something he did not hear directly, it indicates his truthfulness.
حدثنا حسن بن موسى قال حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثنا أبو الأسود عن عبد الرحمن بن سعد المقعد
قرب لرسول الله ﷺ طعام فقال لأصحابه اذكروا اسم الله وليأكل كل امرئ مما يليه إذا قال ابن إسحاق وذكر لم يسمعه يدل على صدقه
