The Prophet ﷺ said to me, "Young man, mention the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is in front of you." That remained my way of eating ever after. My hand had been wandering about the dish.
حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الوليد بن كثير عن وهب بن كيسان
قال لي النبي ﷺ يا غلام سم الله وكل بيمينك وكل مما يليك فلم تزل تلك طعمتي بعد وكانت يدي تطيش
Its isnad is sahih. Walid bin Kathir is trustworthy and knowledgeable about the military campaigns, and Wahb bin Kaysan, the teacher, is trustworthy and knowledgeable. The hadith has already appeared at 16282.
