His father had come to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said, "Whoever fasts perpetually has neither fasted nor broken his fast."
حدثنا حسن قال حدثنا شعبة عن قتادة
وكان أبوه قد أتى رسول الله ﷺ قال من صام الدهر فلا صام ولا أفطر
