Abdullah bin Shikhir reported,

A man asked the Prophet ﷺ about fasting perpetually, and the Prophet said, "He has neither fasted nor broken his fast," or he said, "He did not fast and he did not break his fast."

حدثنا عفان حدثنا همام عن قتادة

أن رجلا سأل النبي ﷺ عن صوم الدهر فقال النبي لا صام ولا أفطر أو قال لم يصم ولم يفطر
