I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The Prophet is in Paradise, Abu Bakr is in Paradise, Umar is in Paradise, Uthman is in Paradise, Ali is in Paradise, Talha is in Paradise, Zubayr is in Paradise, Abdul-Rahman bin Awf is in Paradise, and Saad is in Paradise. And if I wished, I could name the tenth."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا شعبة عن الحر بن الصياح عن عبد الرحمن بن الأخنس قال خطبنا المغيرة بن شعبة فنال من علي رضي الله عنه فقام
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول النبي في الجنة وأبو بكر في الجنة وعمر في الجنة وعثمان في الجنة وعلي في الجنة وطلحة في الجنة والزبير في الجنة وعبد الرحمن بن عوف في الجنة وسعد في الجنة ولو شئت أن أسمي العاشر
Its isnad is sahih. Hurr bin Sabbah Nakhai is a trustworthy successor (tabii thiqah), and he was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Main, Nasai, and others. Bukhari mentioned in al-Kabir 2/1/76 that he heard from Ibn Umar, and "Sayyah" is with the doubled letter ya, as recorded by Dhahabi in al-Mushtabih and the Hafiz in al-Taqrib and others.Abdul-Rahman bin Akhnas is mentioned by Ibn Hibban in al-Thiqat.The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud, 4:343-344, and Tirmidhi, 3:336, both through the route of Shubah. Tirmidhi said, this is a hasan hadith.
