He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about praying in a single garment. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then loosened his lower wrap and folded it together with his upper garment, then stood and prayed. When he finished the prayer, he said, "Does every one of you find two garments?"
حدثنا عبد الصمد قال حدثنا ملازم قال حدثنا عبد الله بن بدر
أنه سأل رسول الله ﷺ عن الصلاة في الثوب الواحد فأطلق رسول الله ﷺ إزاره فطارق به رداءه ثم قام فصلى فلما قضى الصلاة قال كلكم يجد ثوبين
