I also heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "An excellent fast is to fast three days of each month."
وسمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول صيام حسن صيام ثلاثة أيام من الشهر
Its isnad is sahih. Its narrators are all leading authorities, and it has already appeared at 16226.
