They complained to the Prophet ﷺ about the wounds they had suffered, so he said, "Dig the graves, dig them well and wide, bury two and three in a single grave, and place the one who has memorized the most Quran at the front."My father died, so he was placed at the front of two other men.
قال حدثنا عبد الصمد قال حدثنا أبي حدثنا أيوب عن حميد عن أبي الدهماء
شكوا إلى النبي ﷺ ما بهم من القرح فقال احفروا وأحسنوا وأوسعوا وادفنوا الاثنين والثلاثة في القبر وقدموا أكثرهم قرآنا فمات أبي فقدم بين يدي رجلين
