Its isnad is sahih. Sufyan is Ibn Uyayna. This hadith is a repetition of the one before it. As for the wording, "from Abdul-Malik bin Umayr, from Ata bin Saaib, from Amr bin Hurayth," this is how it appears in K and Kh, but "from Ata bin Saaib" is not mentioned in H. I consider it more likely that the correct wording is, "from Abdul-Malik bin Umayr and Ata bin Saaib, from Amr bin Hurayth," for Abdul-Malik heard this hadith directly from Amr bin Hurayth, as in two narrations found in Muslim and as will come up at 1635. He and Ata belong to the same generation, both of them narrate from Amr bin Hurayth, and both of them are narrated from by Sufyan bin Uyayna.
