Hisham bin Amir reported,

You travel to people who know no more about the hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than we do. My father was killed on the day of Uhud, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Dig the graves, make them wide, and bury two or three men in a single grave. Place the one who knew the most Quran at the front." My father knew the most Quran among them, so he was placed at the front.

إنكم لتخطون إلى أقوام ما هم بأعلم بحديث رسول الله ﷺ منا قتل أبي يوم أحد فقال رسول الله ﷺ احفروا وأوسعوا وادفنوا الاثنين والثلاثة في القبر وقدموا أكثرهم قرآنا وكان أبي أكثرهم قرآنا فقدم
